We've released version 10.11.0 of Tempo Timesheets which is compatible with Atlassian's Jira 8.x platform. We've made the In this release we've changed the default setting from "required" to "optional" for Remaining estimate and description field in Description in the Log Time form optional by default for NEW customers.





  • Improvements

    • To streamline the time registration, the Description and Remaining estimate fields in reduce the friction from having Remaining estimate and Description fields in the Log Time form are now as required by default, we've changed the behavior to make those fields optional by default for NEW customers.  
      For existing customers that have never changed the settings for these fields, the fields will become optional. A Tempo Administrator can change the settings back to required. For more information about how to change logging time options, see Configuring Logging Time Options.




Upgrading Tempo Timesheets for Server is free for all customers with an active Tempo license. Upgrade Tempo by using the JIRA Universal Plugin Manager (UPM).
