The minimum system-accepted value for the Worklog Query Base Count Limit is 1000. Entering a lower value will cause the system to generate an error and reject the invalid entry. The previous accepted value will remain active and cannot be replaced with an invalid entry.
To find your environments optimal limit:
Start with a big number like 100,000 and monitor your systems and user reported problems related to the limit. If you are still experiencing problems related to load, try lowering the number to 90,000 and repeat until you have found the desired limit.
