As a team lead, you can add members to and configure your team, assign JIRA issues to team members, create project iterations, and plan time for team members to work on issues.

Becoming a team lead

One of the following people can make you a team lead:

  • A Tempo team manageradministrator
  • A JIRA administrator

Users who are not team leads can also plan time for team members to work on issues if they are granted Plan Time permission for the team.

Before you configure your team and plan work for team members, ensure that a JIRA administrator has configured Tempo Planner.
