Changes are being made to support the upcoming Jira 8 release. For the time being, we will continue to support separate Tempo versions compatible with both Jira 7.x and Jira 8.x. We will be sure to announce with as much advance notice as possible when we make the switch to support Jira 8.x+ exclusively. Jira 8 support: The upcoming release of Timesheets 10.0, Planner 7.0 and Budgets 13.0 will be compatible with Atlassian’s Jira 8.0, a major upgrade to their Server and Datacenter platforms. It is important to note that these new versions of Tempo Apps are not backward compatible with the Jira 7.x platform, so please take care when selecting your installation versions from the Atlassian Marketplace. This platform upgrade does not in any way affect how you use Tempo apps today. However, if you upgrade to the Jira 8 platform, you will need to upgrade to the latest versions of our apps. Minor changes to support Jira 8: Notable changes to Resource Planning in “Tempo 10”: In early 2018, we announced that several features were being hidden by default, with the eventual goal of removing them completely. That time has come, and the following features will not be available in the Jira 8 compatible version of Tempo:
We've also made some improvements to Resource Planning to make planning even quicker and easier. The complete list of changes can be found in the release notes, and if you have any questions or comments, our support team is standing by to help you out. Cheers, Team Tempo |
