The log time procedure has been simplified, making it even easier and faster to log time. To streamline the process, optional fields are now hidden by default – with the exception of the Description field. If you need to record more than just date and time, optional fields are easily accessible by clicking Show hidden fields. Furthermore, you can configure which fields to hide and show and also arrange the order of fields to make the process of logging time the most convenient for you. Finally, the search for issues has been improved, helping you to quickly find the tasks on which you need to log time.

Configure the new Log Time form according to your preferences so that you can log time with minimum effort. Select which optional fields should be visible in the form and in what order.

Click the settings icon  to the upper-right to start reordering fields.

Improved Issue Search

Finding the correct issue has never been so easy. The new Log Time form introduces a completely new way of searching for issues, allowing you to search, filter or combine these two functions. Tempo also suggests issues based on your activities when logging time. The default list of issues is sorted with suggestions at the top followed by your recently visited issues in Jira. Furthermore, using the issue search and filters will also display suggestions at the top that best fit your query.
