Forecasting Project Costs and Revenues

Plans in Planner by Tempo are integrated into Financial Manager projects. Any current or future plans that are assigned to team members are accounted for when calculating the labor, cost, and revenue of a project.

When importing Jira issues to Financial Manager projects, the related planned time is also imported. The teams' time logs and future planned time provide the present costs and revenues up to the current date, and the future projections for the Financial Manager projects. This equips project managers with the necessary data that can enable them to forecast costs and revenues into the future.

  • Planner is not required for project forecasting but provides additional flexibility to project managers, including planning time for their team members.

  • Financial Manager projects always use planned time for forecasting.

  • Plans created on Jira projects using Planner are not included in forecasts.
