Is it possible to merge multiple Tempo Accounts into one?

Answer

Currently it's not possible to merge multiple accounts into one. However, you can change the existing Account linked to Jira issues by bulk editing those issues and changing the Account to a different one. 

Here's how to achieve it:

  1. Create a Jira filter based on the Account set in the Account custom field

  2. On the top right corner, click in the "..." and then select bulk edit

  3. Select all issues you want to edit and click "Next"

  4. Select "Edit issues" and click "Next"

  5. Click in "Change Account"

  6. Select a different Account in the Account custom field and click "Next"

  7. Confirm the change and this will have edited all issues that appeared using the filter you created.

Please note: this is only possible if you are not using Account as work attribute. When work attributes are not used, the time logged is connected to the Account linked to the project through the Account custom field configured in the issue. If you are using Account as a work attribute, then all worklogs are connected to the Account when logging time (through the log time form). In this case, you will need to update individually each worklog connected to the Account.
