Removal of Export to PDF and Download Account Report PDFs

How can I get PDF exports now that “Export to PDF“ and “Download Account Report PDFs” features are not longer available due to security risk?

How can I get PDF exports now that “Export to PDF“ and “Download Account Report PDFs” features are not longer available due to security risk?

Answer

Removing the “Export to PDF” and “Download Account Report PDFs” features have two impacts:
1. A PDF file (and PDF zip file) for exports will no longer be generated.

2. Company logo will also be removed as PDF feature is removed.

You can use the following workarounds for the PDF report, but there is no workaround for company logo at the moment.

Workaround 1:

  1. Run Logged Time Report and group by Account/User/Issue/Worklog

  2. Export all Accounts with Printable View

  3. Print the report with 3rd party software such as Microsoft print to PDF or Adobe print to PDF or Save as PDF on Mac

Workaround 2:

If you wish to export one Account per file, you have to filter by Account and print out as PDF one by one.
