Worklogs are being created when the period is closed
Problem
Worklogs are still being created when the period is set to “Closed for all” in Period Management.
Solution
Worklogs created outside of Tempo, using a different time tracking tool, do not adhere to Tempo settings.
Here are some examples of when this can happen:
Tempo is not set as the Time Tracking provider.
You have another time tracking application where you can log work
Time was logged in a workflow transition
Note: workflow transitions log work using Jira’s native time tracking
The Jira API was used to create the worklog
