Common errors working with Tempo
Problem
Tempo is not working, or you receive intermittent error messages trying to access the product, log time, or run reports.
These include,
Something went wrong
Something’s gone wrong
Something went wrong on our end
Oops, something went wrong!
Opps, you found a dead link.
We are having trouble connecting to Tempo
Unfortunately, we’re unable to process your request. Please retry again in some time.
We can't find the page you're looking for
Solution
These are pretty generic errors that, on their own, don’t give enough information for us to provide a clear solution.
Possible reasons
Your Tempo license has expired
Have your Admin verify the license
There is a 3rd party browser extension interfering (Adblock, Ublock, etc)
Disable all extensions and try again.
You’re missing the Tempo Timesheet Access Global permission
Verify the permission Jira settings > System > Global permissions
You tried to access timesheet approvals through an email link
You need to be already logged into Jira before opening the link
Possible outage or performance degradation
Verify if there is an active incident on our status page https://status.tempo.io/
If neither of those reasons appears to be the problem, please open a support ticket with the following information:
Does this happen in another browser or in an incognito/private window?
Are other users receiving the same error?
Can the issue be reproduced when connected to a different network?
Can the issue be reproduced on a different workstation?
Are you trying to access Tempo through a VPN or behind a firewall? If so, could they test accessing it without the VPN/firewall and confirm if the issue persists?
