Can I retrieve the worklogs from a deleted work item
Problem
Once a work item is deleted, we’re unable to retrieve any of its data, including the associated worklogs.
Solution
A possible workaround to retrieve the data is by using the Audit Log, for more info: https://help.tempo.io/timesheets/latest/audit-log
To do this, you need:
The ID of the deleted work item, and
The time period when the worklogs were created.
If you have this information, search in the Audit Log using the time period and enter the work item ID in the search field.
If you don’t know the work item ID, you can instead:
Search by the user who created the worklog, and
Specify the date when the worklog was created.
From the search results, expand the worklog details.
The issue label in the details will display the issue / work item ID.
