Create teams and groups of teams

As a Tempo team administrator, you can create and configure teams and programs (groups of teams) and designate team leads and program managers. A JIRA administrator can also do these tasks.

Do the below tasks to create and configure teams and programs.

Tips

  • When you create teams and designate team leads, you can also configure all of the teams. Alternatively, you can ask each team lead to configure his or her own team.
  • Always create at least one program, even if it contains only one team, because the Program Planning section of Tempo Planner provides views (version schedule, iteration schedule, epic planning) that are not available in the Team Planning section.
