2020-10-12 | Rolling back Tempo versions x.19 and x.20

We have decided to roll back Tempo versions x.19 and x.20 due to unforeseen impacts on third party apps and integrations

These changes apply to Tempo Timesheets v. 10.19 and 10.20, Planner v. 7.19 and 7.20, and Budgets v. 13.19 and 13.20

Announcing...

Dear Tempo customer,

It has come to our attention that some of our customers have been potentially impacted by changes that were made to the Jira SPI as part of the release of Tempo Timesheets versions 10.19 and 10.20, Planner versions 7.19 and 7.20, and Budgets versions 13.19 and 13.20. By returning the team custom field as a team object instead of a string, this has caused some of you to experience difficulties with certain third party apps and integrations.

To ensure the impact on our customers is minimized, we have made the decision to roll back Tempo Timesheets versions 10.19 and 10.20, Planner versions 7.19 and 7.20, and Budgets versions 13.19 and 13.20. We are working hard to develop a comprehensive solution for the Jira SPI as well as the REST API and will issue a major release once it is ready. In the meantime, the improvements and bug fixes included as part of the version x.19 and x.20 releases will also be re-issued in the next release.

Those of you who have already upgraded to these versions and are not experiencing any issues with third party apps or integrations do not need to take any action. However, if you are having trouble we encourage you to upgrade to the next version when it is available.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Support team or your Tempo representative with any questions or feedback.

Cheers,

Team Tempo
