View Issue Hours Permissions for a Project

The View Issue Hours permission gives users the ability to access the total number of hours per issue in the project, but not to see individual worklogs. The permission is a part of a permission scheme that is assigned to the project. For more information about how to manage project permissions, see Managing project permissions.

To grant View Issue Hours permissions for a project, you need the Jira Administrator permission:

1. Navigate to Project > Permissions to view the permission scheme associated with the project.

2. To modify the permission scheme, click on Actions > Edit Permissions in the top-right corner.

3. Under Time Tracking Permissions, select View Issue Hours.

4. Modify the permissions as needed.
