Changing account status requires the Tempo Account Administrator permission. Account Leads for the account can also change the status.

Accounts can have one of the following statuses: open, closed, or archived.

To change the account status:

  1. Select Accounts (blue star)  in the Tempo sidebar.

  2. In the Accounts view, select the account you want to view. 

  3. Rest the mouse pointer on the Status field. When the pointer changes into a pointing hand, click and then select a status:

    1. Open accounts appear in reports and are displayed in the Account field in linked project issues.

    2. Closed accounts appear in reports but are not displayed in the Account field in linked project issues.

    3. Archived accounts will not appear in reports or be displayed in the Account field in linked project issues.

Account Statuses

The table below show all statuses for Tempo Accounts and the usage for each status.

  • Displayed in issue view

  • Displayed in Account field in linked project issues

  • Searchable in Tempo Timesheets Account Search

  • All worklogs displayed in Tempo Timesheets reports

  • All worklogs included in the API export file

CLOSED

Inactive Account

  • Not displayed in issue view (unless selected while status is still Open)

  • Not searchable in Tempo Timesheets Account Search

  • Not displayed in the Account field in linked project issues

  • All worklogs displayed in Tempo Timesheets reports

  • Account displayed in Select All Accounts in Account Timesheet

  • All worklogs included in the API export file

ARCHIVED

Inactive Account

  • Not displayed in issue view (unless selected while status is still Open)

  • Not searchable in Tempo Timesheets Account Search

  • Not displayed in Account field in linked project issues

  • Worklogs not displayed in Tempo User Timesheets and reports

  • Account not displayed in Select All Accounts in Account Timesheet

  • Worklogs not displayed in Tempo Account Timesheets and reports

  • All worklogs included in the API export file

Changing Account Status in Importing Using CSV Template or XML from Service
