Broken Hardware

This list shows Hardware objects from Assets that relate to Broken Hardware Requests submitted by customers. We’re pulling in 2 Asset Object custom fields we created to track the device (“Device ID”) and the User (“User”) who owns the device. This makes it easy for the team to find the specific asset and it’s details.

Recreate This Chart In Your Own Instance!

  1. Add the Issue List gadget or macro to your Dashboard or page

  2. Set the Source to Advanced (JQL)

  3. Write the following JQL statement: “Request Type” = “Report broken hardware (ITSM)” to pull in requests submitted around broken hardware

  4. Add the following fields as columns to the list:

    1. The custom Asset Object field you created for the device (in this example, “Device ID”)

    2. The custom Asset Object field you created for the user (in this example, “User”)

    3. Created

  5. Optional: Give your list a title

  6. Click Save or Insert
