Overtime Hours

Overtime is the amount of hours that are worked beyond regular hours some period of time. Tempo Budgets lets you capture rules defining how actual costs and revenues should be adjusted when hours are worked in overtime, so that actuals are more precise and better representing your project's reality. These rules are applied to team members and consulting revenues of your Folios.

To have a team member's overtime taken into account, that member must be associated with an Overtime Rule.

Providing Overtime Hours

Overtime hours can either be provided manually or be calculated automatically in various ways. Calculated overtime hours can also be overridden manually.

Manually entered

Overtime hours can be manually added, edited and deleted using the Worked hours table located in team member details panel. Click on entries of the Worked Hours table to edit both regular and overtime hours.

Automatically calculated based on the Availability table and Overtime Rule

By default, overtime hours are automatically calculated based on the resource's availability (as specified in the Availability table), Folio's Work Schedule configuration and the Overtime Rule associated with the member.

Synchronized with the JIRA worklogs

Since most of the timesheets add-ons such as Tempo, populate the JIRA worklogs, Tempo Budgets is fully compatible with these add-ons.
