Grant permission and configure Tempo Planner

As a JIRA administrator, you can do all administrative and user tasks in Tempo Planner. Only JIRA administrators can grant any type of administrator permission, add Team and Iteration fields to screens, and customize team role names.

Before you begin

Define projects in JIRA.
If JIRA Agile or JIRA Software is installed, create scrum or kanban boards.

Procedure

Do the below tasks to grant permission and configure Tempo Planner.

Note

If another Tempo product (Tempo Timesheets or Tempo Budgets) is installed, some of the below tasks might already be done.

Task	Who else can do the task
Grant permission to users Customize team role names Add the Team field to screens Add the Iteration field to screens
Define a working week Specify public holidays	Tempo administrators (if Tempo Timesheets is installed)
Create teams and groups of teams	Tempo team administrators
