This page explains the sidebar option Watched to filter all JIRA You can quickly search for issues that you are watching .This is an option that can be useful to find issues quickly and effectively. To log work on a watched issue, follow the steps below:
The keyboard shortcut key is w, e.g. simply press the w on the keyboard and the dialog opens.
The last option that was used, is selected by default.

Start writing in the field or choose an Issue from the drop-down (shows maximum 20 of the last updated issues) to log work on.
The list is empty (No Matches) if you are not watching any issues.
If you are not watching any issues, the result is No Matches

This is the only log work option that offers to log on a sub-task of the watched issue. If the issue has sub-task(s), a new
an issue.
Procedure
- From any timesheet, in the upper-right corner, click Log Work.
In the Log Work window, in the left column, click Watched.

The time-tracking status for the issue/sub-task is displayed for information purposes, e.g. how many hours have been Logged and what the Original estimate was.

If you tick the Period boxFill a number into the field Worked for the hours. Work is logged on the issue or on a sub-task, depending on which of the fields is active. You can recognize the active field by the gray shading in the field row. For example, in the following example, the sub-task (and not the issue) is active:

Worked The number of hours that the user worked on the issue. dependsRemaining estimate The remaining estimate settingdepends on the in Tempo Global Configuration. If enabled and an issue has no Original estimate, the Remaining estimate is not calculated. Again if enabled and an issue has Original estimate, the Remaining estimate is reduced by the time spent until the value 0 is reached. The Remaining estimate can not be a negative number, but if it has reached 0, the user can add Remaining estimate.setting 'Remaining estimate is optional - Write a brief work description in the Description field.
The description can be optional, if Worklog description is optional is enabled in Tempo Global Configuration. - Click the Log Work button if you are done logging work or Cancel to close without saving. You can also continue to log a bulk of work, by ticking the Log another box before you click the Log Work button, but this means that the dialog stays open to do a new worklog entry
' in the Tempo global configuration: - If that setting is selected, and the issue does not have an original estimate, the remaining estimate is not calculated.
- If that setting is selected, and the issue has an original estimate, the remaining estimate is reduced by the time that is logged until the remaining estimate is 0, in which case you can increase the remaining estimate. The remaining estimate cannot be a negative number.
Description A description is optional if the Worklog description is optional checkbox is selected in the Tempo global configuration. - If you plan to log more work immediately after you log this work, at the bottom of the window, select Log another.
