Cannot see existing worklogs after importing

This article is for Tempo for Cloud.

Question

Cannot see existing worklogs after importing

Answer

After installing Tempo, we don't see our existing worklogs in our Timesheets.

To enable this please, make sure that the plugin has access to the projects and the instance. You can check the necessary permissions for the plugin to work properly here.

Also, make sure that you selected Tempo as the time tracking provider in JIRA Administration > Issues > Time tracking.

Once the permissions are in place, it could take a couple of hours for the worklogs to sync with Tempo as we reside in a different database than JIRA's. How long it takes will depend on the amount of worklogs and issues in your instance. Also, please note that there is a delay if the time is being logged through an issue transition screen as that is a known issue on JIRA's side.
